No Water Curb Appeal
A few people may enjoy standing out in the Dallas heat with a garden hose, faithfully watering several times a week. But for homeowners who don't, we created this curbside garden for a corner lot, bursting with color and thoroughly tolerant of the scorching summers. This bed is filled with spiky yuccas for texture... but a drought tolerant garden need not be limited to desert plants. It's also populated with bright blue larkspur, bright red salvia greggii, tall purple coneflowers, and Jerusalem sage with its quirky yellow blooms. Meanwhile, the homeowner can enjoy Shakespeare in the Park or evenings at the Nasher instead of setting up sprinklers this summer.
